will open in September
and we are looking for
someone now so they
can be involved in
some of the decision
making for the
new practice.
This is an
opportunity for a Lead
Veterinarian with
management
responsibilities. The
success and future of
this practice will be
determined by the role
of this veterinarian.
The practice has the
space to grow into a
4-6 vet practice.
The Chief Veterinarian
will be hired first
and will be involved
in the process of
hiring the additional
veterinarians. This
individual will be
responsible for the
other veterinarians in
the practice.
There is an
opportunity to earn
equity in the practice
based on performance.
This hospital is in an
affluent community
with many retirees
with pets. Practice
will be a state of the
art companion animal
practice that is owned
by veterinarians.
The practice is in an
area with a number of
golf courses,
entertainment venues,
downtown area and
restaurants.
This individual will
be an active player in
the successful launch
of this small animal
practice by being
involved in the search
for associates and
support staff and
preparing the clinic
for operation.
Long term goals would
be for this
veterinarian to build
a strong rapport with
local clientele,
practice excellent
veterinary medicine
and to achieve clinic
production goals of
$3MM in 3-5 years.
Qualifications include
a minimum of 3-5
years of proven
quality veterinary
experience in small
animal practice with
an ambition for
decision making and
management.
Excellent
communication skills
and a "team
player" attitude
are a must. Must
be licensed or
qualified to be
licensed to practice
veterinary medicine in
Florida and qualified
for DEA licensing.

for an Emergency
Veterinarian in the
Miami, Florida area.
This 24 hour
hospital is staffed
with some of
Florida's best
veterinarians and
technicians. We are
in a very upscale
area and have very
affluent and loyal
clientele.
This
position will work
overnights 6p-7a, 1
week on then 1 week
off thus providing
great
flexibility.
Generous base + 25%
bonus.
The
ideal candidate
will have a FL DVM
license, a strong
interest in
emergency/critical
care and ideally
has at least 1-2
yrs of clinical
experience,
preferably in ER
setting.
Also needs to be
team player with
good
communications
skills, and
teacher/mentor for
techs and staff.
