Product Manager - Equine

We are recruiting on an opening for a Product Manager in the Equine products area.  This position will be responsible for the achievement of sales and profit goals for segments of the Animal Health product lines. The position involves strategic planning and management of marketing, advertising, promotion and public relation functions for the assigned products.

 

Principal focus is on implementation of the strategy and tactics, integrating the commercial and technical aspects of marketing planning and working closely with sales and veterinary services in execution of the strategy.

This is a developing market and the company is entering a growth phase in their business.  This could be of interest to someone who likes to keep up with gadgets and technology compared to FDA and EPA products. This position reports to the Director of Marketing and has no direct reports. This individual will be involved in channel and sales force strategy.  

 

QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires a B.S./B.A. degree with strong technical background or equivalent knowledge in animal or biological sciences gained through another science-based degree .  A minimum of three years of previous work experience in the animal health industry is critical to success.  Previous marketing and sales experience is preferred but not a requirement.  A product manager must have excellent communication skills necessary to effectively interact with middle and top management from other departments in order to accomplish product-related tasks.  Strong communication skills, good problem-solving, time management, decision-making and organizational skills are important to demonstrate proficiency in this position.

Regional Account Manager - Veterinary Equipment - Northwest USA
