			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Study Director will be responsible for managing a long-term observational study for companion animal health research. The Study Director will work closely with the Principal (Investigator (PI) to ensure that the study is conducted in a cost-effective manner according to the study timeline, budget and objectives. This includes implementing the Study Protocol in conjunction with the PI, ensuring study timelines are met and that study progress/status is tracked, reported and communicated to PI and CSO, identifying and rectifying problems, planning and documenting project activities and preparing and/or reviewing all project-related documents, preparing and reporting of study findings, management of Clinical Research Organization (CRO) performance and interface with CRO management for resolution of issues, management of study budget, management of direct reports, coordinating the collaboration and consultation with external scientific advisory boards and other external expert panels including overseeing the planning of meetings as required, providing medical/scientific input to, and review of, educational and communication materials and activities such as promotional materials, training manuals, workshops, presentations and publications.</p>
<p>Qualifications include a DVM, PhD with a minimum of two years of clinical research/development experience, experience managing clinical trials in academic clinical research, pharmaceutical/biotechnology company, Academic Research Organization or CRO, effective organizational, communication, interpersonal and leadership/management skills, demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask to meet multiple deadlines, ability to work independently and as part of a team, Proficient skills in computer applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint; working knowledge of MS Project. Excellent oral, written and presentation skills, ability to travel.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The National Account Manager identifies and establishes partnerships with distributors to support the sales of products to veterinarians by promoting sales and providing tools and education to veterinary distributor personnel in order to achieve the sales budget.  The incumbent will develop an annual distributor plan which will include annual purchase goals, margin plan, distributor sales representative commission and incentive plan, rebate/purchase incentives, product marketing/promotions, distributor programs, advertising, training of distributor field representatives and distributor branches and meetings. Will be accountable for the monthly reporting of distributor sales activities to senior management. This report will contain a summary of the sales numbers versus budget, activities executed during the month and plans moving forward to achieve budgeted targets.   Will motivate, guide and provide education to distributor sales representatives. The National Account Manager is responsible for creating and executing the educational curriculum for the distributor sales representatives.  This position is also responsible and accountable for the timely delivery of the sales tools the distributor reps will use to promote the product line. The National Account Manager is responsible for creating and executing the activities surrounding the annual distributor national sales meetings and individual regional meetings. Recruiting the assistance of regional managers and territory managers is essential to completing this responsibility.</p>
<p>Qualifications include a Bachelors degree. 8-10 years of animal health sales experience. 3-5 years of regional management or distributor management experience.  Travel requirement up to 75% of the time. Demonstrated understanding of selling, negotiating, finance, training, coaching and managing others.  Selling skills, outstanding account planning and management strategies are critical for the position.  Bachelors degree required.</p>

They will achieve this goal through recruiting, hiring, coaching and supervising veterinarians and by working with field directors to ensure the presence of outstanding paraprofessional teams.</p>
<p>In addition, Medical Directors partner with field staff to ensure outstanding business practices and a high degree of professionalism in each hospital. Medical Directors are expected to teach medical and surgical skills and to evaluate performance through frequent visits to hospitals. </p>
<p>Qualifications include a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent foreign degree is required. A minimum of two years leadership experience and three years clinical experience is required, with proven ability to perform all basic surgeries, including use of all standard medical instruments and equipment. At the time of hire, an active veterinary license in good standing and related controlled substance licenses are required for the state in which the majority of the MD&#8217;s hospitals exist. For any additional states where the MD has hospitals at the time of hire, or if a new territory is acquired, necessary licenses must be obtained at the next available licensing date. All licenses must remain active for each state in which the Medical Director has hospital responsibility.</p>
