The Study Director will be responsible for managing a long-term observational study for companion animal health research. The Study Director will work closely with the Principal (Investigator (PI) to ensure that the study is conducted in a cost-effective manner according to the study timeline, budget and objectives. This includes implementing the Study Protocol in conjunction with the PI, ensuring study timelines are met and that study progress/status is tracked, reported and communicated to PI and CSO, identifying and rectifying problems, planning and documenting project activities and preparing and/or reviewing all project-related documents, preparing and reporting of study findings, management of Clinical Research Organization (CRO) performance and interface with CRO management for resolution of issues, management of study budget, management of direct reports, coordinating the collaboration and consultation with external scientific advisory boards and other external expert panels including overseeing the planning of meetings as required, providing medical/scientific input to, and review of, educational and communication materials and activities such as promotional materials, training manuals, workshops, presentations and publications.
Qualifications include a DVM, PhD with a minimum of two years of clinical research/development experience, experience managing clinical trials in academic clinical research, pharmaceutical/biotechnology company, Academic Research Organization or CRO, effective organizational, communication, interpersonal and leadership/management skills, demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask to meet multiple deadlines, ability to work independently and as part of a team, Proficient skills in computer applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint; working knowledge of MS Project. Excellent oral, written and presentation skills, ability to travel.

Territory Manager – Utah

Our client has a need for a Territory Manager in Utah.
Qualifications include Bachelors Degree (preferable with a science or business emphasis). 2-8 years outside sales experience preferably selling to veterinarians – capital equipment sales a plus. A veterinary technician background would be of interest as well. Good oral and written skills. Good active listening ability. Basic computer skills: word processing, spreadsheets. Valid DL, clean driving record, auto insurance. Ability to travel and ability to lift 40 pounds. Ability for overnight travel within territory.
