 Our client is looking for a web designer/developer with a sharp eye and an ability to communicate effectively. An expertise in creating clean production-ready designs for web applications as well as proficiency in front end (table-less) development, employing HTML/XHTML/CSS and some JavaScript are a must. The designs and code should have a focus on web best practices. CSS3 or jQuery experience is a plus.  Expertise in Dreamweaver, Photoshop, capable of working in a rapidly changing environment and being proactive are essential. This role will complete various e-marketing tactics including updating the website via web admin interface, building enewsletter templates, developing new site features/functionality, micro-sites, work in coordination with internal IT and support external marketing applications.

Qualifications include developing, implementing, and maintaining internal and external websites and/or web based applications. Creating reusable CSS to modern standards. Current awareness of web standards/best practices. An in-depth knowledge of HTML/CSS JavaScript (specifically JQuery) Knowledge of CSS3/HTML5 is a plus but not required. Experience working with e-mail marketing applications (email template development), maintaining websites, and search engine optimization (SEO). A basic understanding of Google Analytics for reporting and analysis. Collaborate with the internal team and clients to develop concepts and execute ideas.

Swine Veterinarian – Midwest US / Canada

Our client seeks a Swine Technical Services Veterinarian to join their team in launching and supporting their innovative therapeutic product line in the USA and Canada.  In this role, the successful candidate will support sales through professional level technical support to swine veterinarians, producers and distributors and will establish professional relationships with key opinion leaders in industry, government and academic circles. The incumbent will design, monitor and report on field trials and collaborate with academic or research trial cooperators and will provide technical input for the development of training, marketing and sales materials. The veterinarian will provide technical support for sales representatives, marketing personnel and fellow technical team members and will investigate and report on disease breaks and product complaints through problem resolution strategies which might include farm visits and diagnostic investigations.  The incumbent will prepare and submit abstracts of field trials for oral or poster presentation at industry meetings.

Qualifications include a veterinary degree with minimum of three years veterinary practice, industry or production system experience. Swine experience is required.  This position will be home/field based in the Midwest or Canada. Travel within both countries will be required. Full time or consultant candidates will be considered.

Research & Development Scientist

As applied molecular biologist to coordinate, develop, validate and apply techniques such as real time PCR and next generation sequencing to ensure the timely processing and characterization of research and diagnostic/clinical samples. The incumbent will perform analysis on select microbial or host genomes that include real time PCR amplification and Next Generation Sequencing and will utilize and apply data generated from Next Generation Sequencing and real time PCR for both diagnostic and research purposes. The scientist will utilize bioinformatics to provide distinct microbial characterization on processed and archived samples, plan and design and/or conduct/oversee in vitro studies and/or experimental trials, for example, establish schedules and arrange for animal sources (if needed) and arrange for appropriate laboratory resources and consumables, conduct pre trial meetings, participate in vaccination, challenge, necropsy and sample processing, write and review drafts of Laboratory Services diagnostic protocols and reports and recommend and implement new technology. The incumbent will provide training and support during transfer of data and information generated from new technology to other departments, write and review protocols, prepare training materials, provide technical input, oversee preparation of medial, reagents, buffers and glassware used in laboratory tests.

Qualifications include Ph.D. +/-DVM in Molecular Biology or equivalent with 2+ years of experience. Advanced knowledge in molecular biology and microbiology, advanced knowledge in molecular assay development and validation for diagnostic purposes, experience to include real time PCR, next generation sequencing and bioinformatic analysis, experience in microbial genomics and pathogensis, experience in veterinary diagnostics, experience in animal viral and bacterial disease model development. A PhD is a plus as well as someone who is a trail-blazer and champion of identifying new technologies and technology improvements.  Will need to have mastery at handling complex tasks & projects as well as multiple projects concurrently and will apply knowledge of technical and medical fields within category teams and peers.  The incumbent will aggressively seek new technology and IP protection and will stay abreast of new developments and opportunities.  Will need to represent the company via the media, web, conferences and veterinary outreach and will need to be an excellent technical writer and have a track record of publishing in peer reviewed scientific journals.  Will need the abiilty to design protocols for clinical trials whereby the outcome will support product claims.
